Physical description[]
A Gobblin is a large, yellow ball with one pink cheek. It has two beady eyes and a smiley face.
Behavior[]
Gobblins sit on Warp Pipes to block a Yoshi's path. Unlike most enemies, a Gobblin does not damage Yoshi if he touches it. To defeat a Gobblin, Yoshi has to throw six eggs at it, as the Gobblin grows bigger from eating each egg thrown at it, up to the point of exploding.
In Yoshi's Island DS[]
Gobblins are first encountered in Big Bungee Piranha's Lair. Two Gobblins can be found in the subterranean-enemy exhibit of the Island Museum, and are one the few enemies there that can be defeated.
