A Gloomba is a subspecies of Goomba that is colored dark blue and has red feet that lives underground. It is essentially a "Dark" Goomba. They are found throughout the Paper Mario series. They are only found in certain underground places like the Pit of 100 Trials. They are stronger than a Goomba but has the same attacks. There are several variations including the Paragloomba and the Spiky Gloomba. They resemble the dark blue Goombas seen in underground areas of Super Mario Bros..
