Physical description[]
They are a variant of either a Piranha Plant or a Venus Fire Trap with a yellowish-orange head and a consistent smiling face, given how Glad Piranha Plants are imbued with the Joy vibe.
Behavior[]
A Glad Piranha Plant is initially seen sleeping until Peach approaches, at which point the Glad Piranha Plant starts to fly and spit fireballs at her, which is what suggests a Glad Piranha Plant's relation to Venus Fire Traps. This behavior is similar to how Petey Piranha spits out goop puddles. In their Glossary entry, Glad Piranha Plants are said to dance around happily, but they have not been shown to do so.
In Super Princess Peach[]
Glad Piranha Plants are first encountered in Ladida Plains 1-9, and go on to appear in later worlds, such as Hoo's Wood. Peach can quickly defeat a Glad Piranha Plant by hitting it with Perry. In their Glossary entry, their name is formatted Glad P. Plant.
