Gimme a Brake is an 8-Player minigame in Mario Party 7.
Layout[]
The minigame begins on the top of a hill, and there is a mud pit at the end.
Gameplay[]
The eight characters are each riding a scooter, which they have to stop as closely to the mud pit as possible without falling into it. The weather is sometimes rainy, requiring the characters to stop a little earlier than with dry, sunny weather conditions. Alternatively, there can be snow, and because it is slippery, the characters to have to stop much earlier from the mud pit than in either rainy or sunny weather. The team that has one of its characters stop the closest to the mud pit wins. If a character on each of the four teams stop the same distance from the mud pit or if every character falls into the mud pit simultaneously, the minigame ends in a tie.
