Giga Cat Mario is a form featured in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Mario can temporarily take on this form by touching a Giga Bell, allowing him to fight Fury Bowser.
His appearance is very similar to yellow cat suit but three major differences are spiky hair, spiky tail (both similar to that of a lion), & being huge. Mario's design scheme is the same as the yellow cat form except the minor differences.
If the game is completed 100%, Mario will take on his Giga Cat appearance every time he touches a normal Super Bell, only normal-sized.

- Giga Cat Mario uses a bell similar to the regular Super Bell; but the Giga Bell is bigger & slightly different.
- After Giga Cat Mario's appearance in the trailer, many fans and critics starting jokingly comparing this form to the Super Saiyan transformation from the Dragon Ball franchise, due to Mario's spikey golden hair in this form (which in Dragon Ball, is a trait many Super Saiyans have). This eventually caught on to numerous websites, including Polygon.
- Many have also compared it to Sonic the Hedgehog's "Super Sonic" transformation in his eponymous series, as both have spiky hair that is tilted up and golden fur, along with a fierce expression.
