Ghost Piranha

Ghost Piranhas (also called Polterpiranhas or simply Ghosts) are enemies that appear in Yoshi's Island DS. They attack by trying to swallow Yoshi while flying in the air. They only appear in two levels, Hector the Reflector's Haunted House and The Cave That Never Ends.

Ghost Piranhas are among the several Piranha Plant variants to receive a passing mention from Viridi in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Ghost Piranhas are undead Piranha Plants colored cobalt blue with wings.

Trivia[]

The Prima Guide sometimes refers to Ghost Piranhas as Polterpiranhas.
