Gargantua Blarggs are a large variant of Co-Blarggs featured in the Yoshi franchise. They make their debut appearance in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Gargantua Blarggs have an even larger variant named Crusher Blargg.

Physical description[]
Gargantua Blarggs have a nearly-identical appearance as Nep-Enuts, except their body is red. In Yoshi's Woolly World, Gargantua Blarggs are instead merely an outline made up of an orange scarf.
Behavior[]
Gargantua Blarggs are the lava-based counterparts of Nep-Enuts. At first, only a Gargantua Blargg's eyes and large eyebrows are visible, and as a Yoshi gets near, a Gargantua Blargg emerges from the lava, attempting to block his path. It can also do this if Yoshi is standing near a pit of lava.
A Yoshi can bypass a Gargantua Blargg by throwing an egg at its mouth, causing the Gargantua Blargg to sink into the lava, although the Gargantua Blargg re-emerges after a few seconds. Gargantua Blarggs cannot be defeated.

They are encountered in Burt The Bashful's Fort.
Yoshi's Island DS[]
Gargantua Blarggs are a lot less common than in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and appear in only a single level, Gilbert the Gooey's Castle.
Yoshi's New Island[]
Gargantua Blarggs are slightly more common, as they now appear in two levels, Gargantua Blargg Attacks! and Hotfoot Hurdle, being the titular obstacle in the former.
In Tetris Attack[]

A Gargantua Blargg is the fifth boss of VS mode in the Game Boy version and the sixth boss in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System version. He replaces Flare, the flame fairy from the original Japanese version Panel de Pon.
In Yoshi's Woolly World[]
Yoshi instead has to throw three yarn balls at a Gargantua Blargg for it to retreat into the lava. Gargantua Blarggs are primarily featured in the level Lava Scarves and Red Hot Blarggs.
