Game Boy.
The Game Boy was Nintendo's first handheld console. The Game Boy was immensely popular, selling about 118,690,000 units worldwide. It was released in Japan on April 29, 1989, in North America in August 1989, and in Europe in 1990. It was discontinued in 2003, the same year that the Game Boy Color and Nintendo 64 were also discontinued.

The Super Game Boy was a SNES Cartridge that had a slot for a Game Boy cartridge, enabling people to play Game Boy games on their SNES.

The Game Boy Pocket was a smaller, lighter version of the Game Boy. Also, it ran on 2 AAA batteries instead of 4 AAs needed for the Game Boy, and had a longer battery life.
Game Boy Light
Game Boy Light.
The Game Boy Light was a Japan-only version of the Game Boy. The Game Boy Light has a backlit screen for better viewing. It was not released in other regions because Nintendo decided that consumers in other regions wanted "color, not light." Thus, the Game Boy Color was put into production.
