Game & Watch Gallery 3 is a Game Boy Color game released in 1999. It is the third installment of the Game & Watch Gallery series (fourth if counting Game Boy Gallery as the first). Like the previous two Game & Watch Gallery titles, Game & Watch Gallery 3 has five Game & Watch games with a Classic iteration featuring the original Game & Watch characters and an updated Modern iteration with characters from the Mario franchise, also featuring updated graphics, gameplay, and soundtracks.
Game & Watch Gallery 3 has been ported twice. The first time is for the Nintendo 3DS's Virtual Console in 2014 in Japan, Europe and Australia, then in 2015 in North America. In Japan, the Virtual Console release was promotional, and was only made available for those who registered Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and either Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with Club Nintendo. Its second port is for the Nintendo Switch, as part of the Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online service since its launch on February 9, 2023.
