GOOOOOOOAL!! is a 1 vs. 3 mini-game from Mario Party 4. It later returns in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars.
Layout[]
The minigame takes place in a soccer field, with Toads, Goombas, and Koopa Troopas spectating from the bleachers. The bleachers are divided into two with a jumbotron in the center, marked with "LIVE" at the bottom of its frame in Mario Party 4. The audience is the largest in Mario Party Superstars, consisting majorly of Goombas.
Opening[]
As the solo character stands front of the goal, the team members run into the scene, get their soccer balls, and then turn toward the goal.
Gameplay[]
Solo[]
The solo character is a goalie, and they have to block every Soccer Ball headed their way within 30 seconds. Sometimes, they have to jump to block soccer balls headed for the upper part of the net. The goalie has ten chances before losing if they do not successfully block every soccer ball.
Team[]
The team members each have to kick soccer balls into the goal without the goalie blocking the balls. A good strategy for the three team members is to each kick the soccer balls into three different locations, making it harder for the solo character to block the soccer balls. The team must get a total of ten soccer balls in the goal to win.
Ending[]
The winning side is shown on the soccer field's jumbotron. They perform their victory animation while the opposing side performs their losing animation. This ending does not appear in the Mario Party: The Top 100 iteration.

The controls are consistent between all three of the minigame's appearances.

Flavor text[]
- Game Rules: One player is the goalie! Protect the goal from the team players' shots. Get ten goals to win!
- Advice: The goalie must move left and right effectively and even dive to protect the goal!
