Fuzzies (チョロボン,Chorobon?) are odd, parasitic enemies that debuted in Super Mario World. These furry creatures are capable of sucking away enemies' health with a bite. They possess two strabismus eyes and large teeth. Despite displaying some level of intelligence and the ability to speak, Fuzzies are, for the most part, wild and uncivilized beings. Fuzzies have the ability to secrete webbing-like strands from their bodies, though this ability has largely been phased out in modern times.
Fuzzies are small, limbless creatures covered in shaggy fuzz, typically black but they can appear in many different colors. Their only other major features are a large mouth with four flat, crooked teeth and a pair of wild, bugged-out eyes. Having no legs, they simply hop from place to place, making a soft "boing" sound with each jump. If they spot Mario, they will immediately race towards him to attack, jumping on his head to suck away precious life energy and filling their own in turn. This parasitic attack makes Fuzzies especially difficult to defeat if the players unprepared.
Fuzzies make their debut in Super Mario World, in this game, they can typically be found in levels of Forest of Illusion and other platforming levels. Fuzzies are seen moving along tracks and can cause damage to Mario/Luigi upon contact. Fuzzies move quickly but they're relatively easy to avoid. Fuzzies can only be defeated by either swallowing them with Yoshi or by tossing an object such as a Koopa Shell at them.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[]
Fuzzies return in New Super Mario Bros. Wii after an absence from New Super Mario Bros., in this game, they once again retain their abilities of moving along tracks however this time, they can also fall from a track at it's end only to fall to a new track. Fuzzies are commonly found in groups requiring some maneuvers to avoid. Fuzzies are immune to stomps but they can be defeated with the effects of a Fire Flower or Starman, they can also be frozen with the effects of an Ice Flower or Penguin Suit, Fuzzies tend to stay frozen longer than most other enemies and while frozen, they can be used as a platform for reaching higher ledges. This game also introduces a larger sub-species of Fuzzy called the Mega Fuzzy, both varieties can only be found in World 7-3 and World 9-5.

Fuzzies also tend to have smoke omitting from them in this game.

New Super Mario Bros. 2[]

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[]
Fuzzies make a comeback in Paper Mario, where a large gang of them are revealed to inhabit the shady woods behind Koopa Village. These creatures attack by draining HP from Mario and his allies. When not in battle, they move around by hopping and can secrete webs from their bodies to hang from, much like Silkworms.
Upon his arrival in Koopa Village, Mario finds it under attack by a mob of Fuzzies who are harassing the peaceful Koopa Troopa inhabitants and attempting to steal their Shells. After defeating the apparent leader of the Fuzzies, who had stolen the Shell of Kooper, the Fuzzies promise to behave and stop attacking the village... well, at least for a while.
In addition, a Fuzzy can be encountered in Shy Guy's Toy Box if Princess Peach informs Bowser that Fuzzies are one of Mario's worst fears. Kammy Koopa then warps a Fuzzy into the Toy Box to guard a treasure chest and challenge Mario.
Two stronger varieties of Fuzzies called Jungle Fuzzies and Forest Fuzzies also appear in this game. The former sucks up three Flower Points and the latter is merely a stronger variety that sucks up three HP. Most notably, wearing the Zap Tap badge will make Mario completely immune from being harmed by the Fuzzies.
Also, an aqua-blue colored Fuzzy was intended to appear, but it never made it into the game's final build.

Unlike their previous appearances, they no longer drain HP but attack other creatures by bouncing into them. In addition to the Pink Fuzzy, the game introduces the most perilous type of Fuzzy, known as the Dark Fuzzy which can only be found in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star[]
Fuzzies are seen again in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. In this game, they retain their appearance from the previous games in the series (being one of the few enemies to do so), Fuzzies can only be found in Whiteout Valley and are seen traveling along the track-wire that the ski lifts are attached to and drop down at Mario as he passes by engaging him in battle. Mario either sway his chairlift forward or backward to evade the Fuzzies or he can jump in his chairlift to knock away the Fuzzies the moment they reach his chair, if Mario is frozen by an Ice Bro. in the background and a Fuzzy lands on him, Mario, the Fuzzy will score a First Strike on Mario.
In battle, the Fuzzies attack by bouncing on Mario's head, additionally, the Fuzzies can also multiply themselves as they take damage (the new Fuzzies emerge with full HP) so be sure to clear them out quickly. Fuzzies themselves however have very low HP and most attacks will be able to take them out in a single shot.
Paper Mario: Color Splash[]
Fuzzies reappear in Paper Mario: Color Splash, maintaining their appearance and attacks from the previous games, they once again attack Mario by bouncing on his head and by multiplying however this time, if there are multiple Fuzzies, they may also form a group attack and in some cases, they can preform a blowback attack which causes more damage. Fuzzies can only be beaten with the effects of an Invincibility Mushroom and do not react in any way to the touch screen/pointer interaction unlike most other enemies in the game.
"This is a Fuzzy. Why do Fuzzies always jump up and down? They need to chill out! Max HP: 3, Attack Power: 1, Defense Power: 0 The problem with Fuzzies is their quickness. It's really tough to time their attacks. If they latch on to you, watch out! They'll absorb your HP."
Kissy-Kissy (1, recovers health according to damage, Piercing)
Log
A parasite that sucks up its opponent's HP to replenish its own. Fuzzies are so hyper that it's hard to time your Guard Action Command.

"That's a Fuzzy. What a hyper little guy, huh? Cut back on the caffeine! Max HP is 3, Attack is 1, and Defense is 0. Those things suck up your HP and use it to replenish their own! Isn't that the worst? I mean, EW! Doesn't that just sound totally gross? Anyway, guard against them by pressing the MOMENT they release you. The timing is pretty hard to master, so, uh, practice up! These things really suck… HP."
"That curious, bouncing ball of fur is a Fuzzy... Nobody knows why they bounce... Max HP is 5 and Attack is 1. No remarkable abilities aside from the bouncing... I suggest you keep your distance until you can predict its erratic movements..."
