Francis is a light brown dog.
Personality traits[]
Like a typical dog, Francis likes his dog treats. When someone ruins his treats, he holds a grudge against them, seen when Luigi accidentally stepped on his treat and Francis plotted revenge against him. However, Francis is willing to set aside the grudge when Mario and Luigi saved Brooklyn from Bowser, as he nodded in respect to Luigi.
Biography[]
Francis resides in Brooklyn, New York City. His owners are the Brooklyn couple, whose penname is known as BrKLnCouple. His owners called Mario and Luigi to fix the plumbing systems in the bathroom. When the Mario Bros. arrived, Luigi accidentally stepped on Francis's food. The brothers continued fixing the plumbing system, however, Francis plotted revenge by sabotaging the brothers. This resulted the brothers to fail fixing the plumbing system.
After the events of Mario, Luigi and the Mushroom Kingdom elements moving out of the Mushroom World, Francis was part of the Brooklyn crowd that witnessed the battle against Bowser. After Princess Peach shrunk Bowser with a Mini Mushroom and Toad trapped him in a jar. Francis and the crowd celebrated Mario and Luigi's victory against Bowser.
Trivia[]
- Francis's presence in the movie may be foreshadowing the future fight with Bowser as many events prior to the Mushroom Kingdom's visit are mirrored (or referenced) later on in the movie in a more grandiose manner. "Bowser" is often a nickname for a dog.
