WarioWare

Fragile! is a recurring microgame in the WarioWare series. It first appears in WarioWare: Twisted! as one of Wario-Man's microgames and returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Penny's microgames, and its name is a pun on the word "fragile," which refers to a

Layout[]

The microgame features a white egg on a plain white background.

Gameplay[]

The player has to avoid moving the system throughout the entire minigame, otherwise the egg breaks and gives off a crack that resembles Wario's mustache. If the egg cracks, the player loses at the microgame. There is still the option to move the system, as long as the egg does not break. The sensitivity increases with each level of difficulty.

Difficulty levels[]

An additional egg is added within each difficulty level, making the microgame even more sensitive to the system's movements. The background noises also differ between each difficulty level.

  • Level 1: There is one egg, and birds can be heard chirping. The room for error is relatively large.
  • Level 2: There are two eggs, and the background noises consist of birds chirping and someone sneezing. There is less room for error.
  • Level 3: There are three eggs, and the background noises consist of birds chirping and someone hiccuping. The safe angle is even narrower.

In the microgame's WarioWare Gold iteration, there is a twist where the "Roll over!" instruction is shown instead as a chick is about to hatch.

In Super Smash Bros. series[]

Don't move!

Don't move!

A variation of Fragile! is one of the microgames in the WarioWare, Inc. stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This iteration does not feature an egg, but a sitting marble statue can be seen in the background. The command "Don't Move!" is still retained. A fighter can by not making any controller inputs, and being attacked does not count as moving.

Trivia[]

  • Due to the fact that the player must not move the system to win, they can easily cheese the Microgame by placing the Game Boy Advance on a flat surface and leaving it alone. This may explain why Tread Carefully was not included in the free play Album in WarioWare: Touched!.
