Flying Fish

Flying Fish are an enemy in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

Physical description[]

Flying Fish are small, round, fish-like ghosts either pink or green in color. They have yellow eyes, two stubby, short arms, and a thin, pointed tail at the end.

Behavior[]

Pink Flying Fish pop up in groups and fly around the place, trying to hit Luigi. Green Flying Fish act similarly except they move considerably faster than their pink counterparts.

In Luigi's Mansion[]

Flying Fish only appear in the Courtyard and Pipe Room, the former having the pink type and the latter having the green type. If Luigi gets hit by a Flying Fish, he takes five HP of damage. Like mice and bats, Flying Fish have no HP counter, and they can be vacuumed into the Poltergust 3000 instantly.

In the Hidden Mansion of PAL versions and the Nintendo 3DS remake, Flying Fish also appear in the Ball Room and Butler's Room. Aside from this, the Flying Fish in the Courtyard are replaced with the green type.
