Fluffin' Puffins are a species of helpful allies in Yoshi's Woolly World and its Nintendo 3DS remake, Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World.

Physical description[]
Fluffin' Puffins are a variant of Huffin' Puffins, which they same similarities to, though the chicks lack any limbs and have green spots to resemble Yoshi Eggs.
Behavior[]
If a Yoshi throws a Fluffin' Puffin chick, it flies in a straight path, similarly to a Yarn Ball, and leaves a path of fluff behind.
In Yoshi's Woolly World[]
Fluffin' Puffins only appear in the level Fluffin' Puffin Babysitting. Fluffin' Puffin chicks can be encountered in crowds separately from their parents, and a Yoshi can walk into one to add it to his stash. If a Fluffin' Puffin chick hits a surface or an enemy after being thrown, they disappear. Fluffin' Puffin chicks are also weaker than Yarn Balls, as they cannot be used to defeat Piranha Plants or Wild Ptooie Piranhas, although they can attack other enemies such as Koopa Paratroopas. An adult Fluffin' Puffin can be defeated from being jumped on.
The fluff left behind by a Fluffin' Puffin chick can be used as a platform, and it disintegrates after a short time. Yoshi can ground pound on any spot on the platform to break through it.
There is a Fluffin' Puffin costume for the Yoshis that can be unlocked by collecting every Wonder Wool in the Fluffin' Puffin Babysitting.
