Flophoppers are creatures from Super Mario 3D Land. They wear a spiky helmet on their heads, but they have a soft belly. If Mario or Luigi runs in to one or jumps on their spiky helmet, he will take some damage. They move around by flipping in one direction, eventually they will stop flipping and spin around then start flipping back the other way.
Flophoppers can quickly be defeated with a Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Boomerang Flower, Statue Leaf, Star, or by simply jumping on its belly when it is exposed.
Trivia[]
- While their helmet is up, it makes them look angry, however, whenever their belly is exposed, they look scared or worried.
- They closely resemble Bramballs having both spikes and suction feet. Their movement is also very similar.
