Floor It! is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.
Layout[]
The player's character utilizes a silver elevator that moves up and down in the center. It can move between four floors, which from top to bottom are: Boo, Goomba, Koopa Troopa, and Shy Guy. Each floor is a different color, and their association with a species is indicated by an icon of that species of the same color on the left and right sides each.
Opening[]
The player's character jumps into an elevator, utilizing the Up and Down buttons, as the door behind them shuts.
Gameplay[]
The player's character must allow various species into the elevator—including Boos, Koopa Troopas, Shy Guys, and Goombas—and send them their corresponding floor to earn points. However, the elevator has a maximum occupancy of four, not including the player's character. The time limit is at sixty seconds, and the player must earn enough points before time runs out to win. Sending more of the same species to their floor at once rewards the player more points and adds a few seconds to the timer. A Boo, Koopa Troopa, Shy Guy, or Goomba sometimes has a clock over its head.
If an individual waits too long outside the elevator, they grow impatient, which they signal by turning around several times, before eventually walking away.
In Shroom City mode, the minimum score the player must reach a minimum of 200 points to win, while in Mini-Game Attack, they must score 1,000 points.

Trivia[]
- The minigame's name is shared with the phrase "floor it," meaning to push down a vehicle's gas pedal in order to rapidly accelerate. However, the minigame's use of the title is a pun, considering its objective.
