Profile[]

Physical description[]

A Flomp is a floating Thwomp shaped like a platform. It has a green outer edges with spikes sticking out. However, they have a green octagonal frame adorned with spikes and two screws on the sides, making it resemble a watch, possibly referring to how timing is important when dealing with Flomps.

Flomps are floating platform enemies that like to sleep. Flomps can be used as regular platforms, with some revolving mildly in one spot whereas others move from side to side. However, at set intervals, a Flomp makes a rattling sound, its sleepy face turns into an evil grin, and the Flomp shakes a bit before quickly flipping over and resuming its original position.

In Super Mario Galaxy 2[]

Flomps are found at Bowser's Lava Lair and Grandmaster Galaxy. Mario or Luigi has to jump from Flomps in order to progress. If Mario or Luigi is standing on a Flomp when it flips, he get flung back into lava, space, Black Hole, or possibly another Flomp if he spins in midair. Flomps cannot be defeated in any way.

In Mario Party: Island Tour[]
