The sole objective in Shroom City mode is for the player's character to jump between pegs to get across to the goal peg within a time limit of 30 seconds. There are four types of pegs: a green peg, which is the regular type; a red peg, which occasionally disappears; a blue peg, which moves either vertically or horizontally along a track; and the goal peg, which marks the end of the area. If either the player's character runs out of time or falls into the lava below, they lose at the minigame.

In Play Land, the player's character earns points whenever they complete a level, which also increases the timer by eight seconds. The score earned is equal to the amount of time remaining when the player's character reaches the end of the level multiplied by ten.

Controls[]

  • +Control Pad: Direction
  • A Button: Jump
  • R Button: Let go

Flavor text[]

  • Rules: Swing on the pegs and flip across to the other side!

Trivia[]

  • The minigame name is a pun on an expression that refers to when someone becomes crazy or very excited or mad.
