Super Mario

Flip Panels are a type of platform which first appears in Super Mario 3D Land.

Description[]

When the green "!" switch of a Flip Panel is pressed, several connected green panels, each depicting a face, are created. Mario or another character can then move across these panels to travel across pits or other hazards, similar to Snake Blocks. Some seconds later, the panels turn dark green, open their mouth, and start to disappear one at a time. When every panel has disappeared, Mario or another character can step on the "!" switch to create the Flip Panels again.
