Flip Blocks (also known as Rotating Blocks) are blocks that first appear in Super Mario World, which take place of brick blocks in said game. When the player hits one, it will rotate and the player can go through. Cape Mario can also spin into one from the side to spin it.If Mario or Luigi spin-jump on top of one, the block will be destroyed. These blocks can also contain items or coins.
