Fleepers are a type of enemy which only appear in Yoshi's Island DS.

Physical description[]
Fleepers are yellow flea with proportionally large feet compared to the rest of their body.
Behavior[]
Fleepers can jump very high, and can sometimes jump up to the Nintendo DS's top screen. If a Fleeper lands on a Yoshi, he takes damage, causing the Countdown Timer to start. A Yoshi can defeat a Fleeper by either jumping onto it or by throwing an egg at it.
Etymology[]
Their name is a portmanteau of "flea," referring to their species, and "leaper," referring to their main characteristic.
In Yoshi's Island DS[]
Fleepers are first encountered in the level Boing!. Four of them can be found in the land-enemy exhibit of the Island Museum.
