Template:Enemy Fire Bros. are an enemy in the Mario series. They are a subspecies of Hammer Bros. and first appear in Super Mario Bros. 3, where they guard the third and final Warp Whistle in the Desert Land. They are also an enemy in New Super Mario Bros. level 8-7 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They look like Ice Bros., but their shells are red. Fire Bros throw fireballs at players. The fireballs can harm Mario if he touches them. Fire Bros are the exact opposite of Ice Bros. They have probably used a Fire Flower. Fire Bros appear in World 3. They lob rapidly-moving Fireballs as an opposed to Hammers. Ice Bro. can be considered their polar opposites in the same way that an Ice Flower can be considered a Fire Flower.
