Peach's Birthday Cake is Princess Peach's board featured in Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars. The theme revolves around players are looking for stars on a giant Birthday Cake. Peach made a giant cake but needs to light the candles.
Summary[]
The Star Location never moves from its destined spot. The only way to get to it is if you pick a good seed from Goomba, if you do not pick a good seed from the Goomba, then you will get a Bowser seed which leads you to a mini-dash with many Bowser and Red Spaces, which leads you away from the Star. Bowser will also give away an inedible Bowser Cake for the price of 20 coins. Another way to earn stars is by landing on a happening space and paying thirty coins to have a Piranha Plant occupy the space. If someone were to land on they would lose a star and the person who bought the Pirahna Plant will get a Star.
Changes made in Mario Party Superstars[]
The biggest notable change made when this board returned in Mario Party Superstars is that now, the spot where the player must pay 10 coins to the Goomba in order to proceed has been placed after the star and moved much further down. This is to prevent players being forced to pay 10 more coins directly before the star (which theroically meant paying 30 coins in total for the star). Players that are forced to go to Bowser still have a chance to get a star since the area loops back around back to the Star Space. One other notable change made as the inclusion to an Item Shop that can be found after the Star Space and before the Goomba section. This is quite notable considering there weren't any Item Shops present in the original Mario Party. Finally, there is also a Happening Space right after this Item Shop that takes players back to the bottom of the board allowing them to skip going past the Goomba and being forced to pay 10 coins just to proceed. It is also serves as a shortcut back around to get to the star.
