Hisstocrat is a gigantic snake-like creature who appears as the boss of World 3 in Super Mario 3D World and its Enhanced Version on the Nintendo Switch. He is fought on the levels A Banquet with Hisstocrat and Boss Blitz, is the second/final boss of that world and is overall the fourth boss of the game.
Physical description[]
Hisstocrat appears as a giant purple snake-like creature that wears a red cape and a crown. Because of this, he is considered royalty. He is in the ground so the player never sees the bottom side of him.
Battle[]
In battle, Hisstocrat battles alongside his smaller snake minions that can be used by Mario and the others to jump up to the large boss. Hisstocrat himself mainly attacks by digging into the ground and send fiery boulders at the player(s). He can also have his snake minions attack the player(s) directly. The Super Bell is useful here as it can be used to climb up easily and jump onto Hisstocrat's head. After three hits, Hisstocrat and his minions fall.
Attacks[]
- Rock Throw: Hisstocrat will emerge from the ground while many rocks are thrown in the air that will fall onto the player.
- Snake Hiss: Hisstocrat will make a music hiss and call multiple snakes to assist him in his battle, however he is only helping the player to attack him.
