Super Duel Mode

Super Duel Mode is a mode which appears in Mario Party 5. It allows players to create their own fighting machine and duel other characters using it. It is hosted by Skolar.

Machine designs[]

Each vehicle consists of four parts. These parts include: the body type, the weapon, the tires, and the engine. Each part is part of a set that makes an actual vehicle. For example: you can make a train by using all the train parts. Sets can be mix-mashed (for example, a train body, E. Gadd tires, Watermelon gun, and star engine) to create many possible designs. In order to receive parts, players must buy them with points they get from mini-games. Different mini-game categories will give players points in different machine categories. Every time a player finishes a mini-game, they get one point.

There are five symbols that indicate different aspects of the vehicle's ability:

Red Heart: Health
Green Steering Wheel: Handling
White Boxing Glove: Power
Blue Vehicle Icon: Top Speed
Yellow Vehicle Icon: Acceleration

Machine parts[]

There are a total of 44 different parts that can be used to customize a vehicle. The last two, Bob-omb Wall and Bowser Punch, are unlocked after all other parts are purchased.

Body Types[]

The Body Type determines the health and speed of the machine.

DK Body	A slow body made of barrels that increases defensive and offensive abilities.	15
E. Gadd Body	A hi-tech body that's very high-balanced, designed by the professor.	15
Skolar Body	A body with mostly average abilities that takes less damage from bombs and vehicle attacks.	20

Tires[]

The Tires modify the speed, acceleration and handling of the Machine

Engines[]

Engines modify how fast a machine moves and how it handles.

Weapons[]

Weapons can modify the attack stat and can increase or decrease speed depending on the weight of the weapon.
