The Factory Chief is a boss who appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its 2023 Remake on the Nintendo Switch. He is a purple Ninja who is second highest ranked member of the Smithy Gang, falling only behind Smithy himself.
Alongside the Gunyolk, the Factory Chief serves as the third/penultimate boss of the Factory, and is overall the twenty-fourth/penultimate boss of the game. And it was the last obstacle standing between Mario's party and Smithy.

Battle[]
In battle, the Factory Chief operates his invention the Gunyolk that can use the deadly Breaker Beam move. The Factory Chief himself can attack with strong physical such as Thornet and can even turn one of Mario's party into a Mushroom.
Strategy[]
It is very wise to take down the Factory Chief before going after the Gunyolk as his Funguspike technique can be troublesome. The Factory Chief is weak to Ice, so Mallow's Snowy is effective against him. Mario should attack with his moves with Princess Toadstool heals.

- The Factory Chef is one of the three-to-four bosses of Super Mario RPG to be stronger version of a regular enemy, the others are Chef Torte and the Chef Torte's Apprentice, Jagger and Smilax.
