Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle was a game available for the Super Famicom's Satellaview accessory. It is a variation of Excitebike, albeit with Mario characters. The game was released in four different episodes, each during a specific week in 1997.

The concept of the game was unchanged except for a "SUPER" mode where the player has unlimited turbo, as well as the addition of coins. The coins are spread out on the courses and increase top speed.
Characters[]
In Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle, the playable characters were gradually added over the four weeks. They consisted of Mario, Luigi, Toad, Wario, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. The former three were added in episode 1, Wario was added in episode 2, Princess Peach was added in episode 3, and Yoshi was added in episode 4, although Luigi was removed.
