Energy Ball

Energy Ball is the Offensive Power Shot of Paratroopa in Mario Power Tennis.

Description[]

Upon initiating the move, Paratroopa flies backward, then spins forward again, igniting the ball with a shiny purple energy and darkening the court. When the ball is hit, it travels high in the air in the manner of a lob shot. Whoever hits the ball briefly spins in a tornado, after which they become briefly stunned.

It is possible to counter Energy Ball using Yoshi's Rainbow Flutter, Donkey Kong's Boomerang Banana Return or Diddy Kong's Barrel Jet.
