Enemy Battles are a type of course in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
Description[]
Similar to the Enemy Courses from other Super Mario series games, the only objective of an Enemy Battles course is to defeat every enemy within the time limit, upon which a Green Star appears, and collecting it ends the course. Unlike Enemy Courses, Enemy Battles are required to be completed in order to progress, and walking to an Enemy Battles course on the map does not cause the player's character to forcefully enter it.
Most Enemy Battles take place in small Fortress-like rooms with framed images of the Bowser emblem lining the wall.
List of Enemy Battles[]
Like the standard levels, each Enemy Battle has both its own level number and level name. All Enemy Battles courses have the word "Blockade" in the title. The first three worlds have only one Enemy Battle course, and the following three worlds have two Enemy Battles, with the second one involving fighting Fire Bros.
