Physical description
Elmo is a red Koopa Troopa.
Personality traits
Elmo seems to be rather dumb, since his boss, King Bowser Koopa, calls him the stupidest Koopa Troopa and that other Red Koopa Troopas are also dumb. However, Elmo turns out to be a big help when his body is melded with the Mushroom King's body.
Biography
Elmo is first mentioned when King Bowser Koopa demands that the former comes forth. However, Elmo does not show up. A Boom Boom comes up to say that he ditched his fortress-guarding duty since it tired him out, so Elmo was left in charge. King Bowser Koopa does not take kindly what his minion says, so he tosses him into the mixer, creating a BOOM BOOM ON FAIAH!!. The Boom Boom takes control of the BOOM BOOM ON FAIAH!! and looks for some water to put out his head flame, as he gets teased by Bowser.
Elmo eventually shows up and is melded with King Toadstool not long after he arrives. However, they, as the King Troopa, prove to be staunch allies. Elmo is freed from his Amalgamation, along with the rest of the creatures. He is not seen afterwards.
