Elite Pestnuts are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and reappeared in the remake. They are stronger versions of the Pestnut with tougher power and faster speed.

Battle

Elite Pestnuts have higher stats than Pestnuts in the Chucklehuck Woods. They still behave the same way with faster speed. They cannot be stomped unless either Bro are wearing the correct clothing. With some damage, it will lose its spikes revealing a Beanie or Gold Beanie that is slowly floating and cannot attack. Unlike their weaker counterparts, they never appear in the overworld, and their presence only occur in battles with Bloopers in the Oho Ocean Seabed.
