Egg Ball

The Egg Ball is Yoshi's Star Skill in Mario Superstar Baseball.

Description[]

If Yoshi uses Egg Ball while pitching, the baseball turns into an egg, which bounces on one side of the ground and farther to the other side as it passes the batter. This can trick the batter, as the ball quickly bounces from one side to the other. If Yoshi is batting, the Egg Ball is shot to the infield, where it bounces around the area.

Egg Ball works just like Birdo's Weird Ball, except her eggs have pink spots and bounce farther from the infield.

Egg Ball does not return in Mario Super Sluggers, where Yoshi uses Rainbow Ball for pitching and Egg Swing for batting instead.

In Challenge Mode, Yoshi can only perform Egg Ball after the player purchases the Egg from the shop.
