Egg-enuts are an enemy which appear in Yoshi's Island DS. They are a small variant of Nep-Enuts.

Physical description[]
Egg-enuts have a white body shaped like the upper half of an oval. They have a long antenna made up of individual dots and a tip at the end that resembles a Yoshi Egg, but it can be differed from its yellowish color and having unfilled, light green circles as a pattern.
Behavior[]
An Egg-enut is found either in Warp Pipes or underwater. It makes use of its antenna to try and lure a Yoshi toward it. If a Yoshi gets too close, the Egg-enut whips back its antenna and starts waving it. If it hits Yoshi, he gets damaged, triggering the Countdown Timer.
In Yoshi's Island DS[]
An Egg-enut is first encountered in the level Up the Creek. In the Island Museum, three Egg-enuts are found in the aquatic-enemy exhibit, two of which are in their own pipe while one is in the water.
