Pumping at the right pace (not too fast as it will only fill up the balloon too little and too slow will allow the other team to catch up) will ensure victory for the winning team.

Dungeon Duos is a 2-vs-2 minigame which first appears in Mario Party 4 and returns in Mario Party Superstars.

Gameplay

In Dungeon Duos, the players must work as a team to reach the goal at the end. This mini-game is divided into four parts. In the first part, the players must lower their doors by pulling on levers. In the second part, one member from each team must rotate a platform around allowing for their other teammate to reach the other side and do the same for their teammate. This must be done twice overall with the first platform having two spots to jump on and the second one only having one. In the third part, the players must locate the correct Warp Pipe that will send them to the next area. There are two warp pipe sections with the first part having 5 and the second part having 9. The correct warp pipe is always random so finding the correct one mildly relies on luck. Finally, in the fourth part, the players must pump up the balloon to escape the dungeon. Pumping at the right pace (not too fast as it will only fill up the balloon too little and too slow will allow the other team to catch up) will ensure victory for the winning team.
