Dull Bones are a variant of Dry Bones featured as an enemy in both Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario.
Appearances[]
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]
They are the weakest enemy encountered and a much weaker version of the average Dry Bones. This enemy appears within Hooktail Castle and later reappears in the Glitz Pit. There is a unique Dull Bones, named Red Bones, encountered twice throughout the game.
Super Paper Mario[]
These enemies reappear in Super Paper Mario, but only near the ending. They are found in and around the Underwhere. In some of the areas, not only can Dry Bones be found, these as well. They throw bones and only deal four points of damage. They have 15 Hit Points, and aren't very strong. However, the Dull Bones can be easily taken down with Bowser's fire breath.
