The Dream World is a major location that appears in Mario & Luigi series. It is a dream area equivalent to the real world and is home to dreamy-like residents from Pi'illo Island.

Layout[]

Much like Bowser's Body from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, the Dream World is shown from a 2D perspective.

One of the areas is Dreamy Pi'illo Castle, the Dream World equivalent of Pi'illo Castle. It can be accessed by the pillow located in the large room of Pi'illo Castle. The boss of the location is Dreamy Mario.

Dream World area — An area within the Dream World

The Dream World can be accessed by Mario while Luigi sleeps on a special type of pillow, causing a Dream Portal to appear. This way, Mario (or another character) can jump into the Dream Portal to enter the Dream World equivalent of the current location. Mario is assisted by Dreamy Luigi whenever he is in the Dream World.
