Draglet

Draglets are small, bat-winged dragon heads which appear as enemies in Super Mario 3D Land. They are commonly seen as guards of the castle levels. Draglets usually float around their general areas but if they catch sight of intruders, they will spit a fireball. Draglets themselves aren't very durable and can be bested with most attacks.

Draglets are first seen in Super Mario 3D Land. In this game, they can be found in various castle-themed stages as well as volcanic areas. Draglets float around a set area and whenever they see Mario/Luigi, they will spit a fireball, Draglets however can be defeated with basically any attack such as stomps or the effects of a Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Boomerang Flower, Starman, Statue Leaf, or Invincibility Leaf. Several Draglets can also be seen in the opening cutscene for World 8 suggesting that they reside in the Koopa Kingdom.

Trivia[]

A Draglet's appearance has characteristics of Eeries, Rexes, and Yoshi.
