Dr. Mario World was a game in the Dr. Mario series, only available for mobile devices.
It was developed by Nintendo and became available for download on July 10, 2019. The game is available in many languages including Japanese, English and Spanish as a few examples.
The game makes use of the touch screen that players must use to stack capsules and destroy viruses. The game stands out for having a great variety of playable characters instead of just Dr. Mario and Dr. Luigi as in past games. Each playable character has unique abilities and the game also has assistants, which are other Mario characters and enemies.

The player can play as Dr. Mario among other playable characters. Eliminating viruses is the player's objective.

Characters are unlocked by doing Staffing, there's exactly a lower probability to get a doctor, than an assistant. The chances to get a doctor is around 1.10%, the assistant chance is around 1.15%, note that the rates are rounded though, meaning the numbers in appearance rates may not always add up to 100%. Once in staffing, you can buy characters for either 4,000 gold coins, 40 diamonds, or use a staffing ticket.
