Down with Petey Piranha!

Episode 2: Down with Petey Piranha! is the second episode of Bianco Hills in Super Mario Sunshine.

Overview[]

In this mission, Mario finds himself facing a new foe: Petey Piranha who was stationed there by Bowser Jr.. The oversized Piranha Plant has perched himself on top of the Big Windmill waiting for Mario to make it up to him to fight. Mario must make is way back to the area he was in the last episode and work his way up the windmill. Along the way, he must avoid pollution being sent down by Petey Piranha and large, pointy thorns. Once he reaches the top, Petey Piranha roars at him ready to fight. However, before the two could do anything else, the ceiling of the windmill caves in due to the weight. Once the two land inside of the windmill, the fight starts. Petey Piranha's main attacks including tossing his head around and spitting up large amounts of pollution. Mario must use F.L.U.D.D. to fill up Petey Piranha with water and then Ground Pound his belly to damage him. This must be done three times to defeat Petey Piranha.

In pre-release builds, this mission was titled "Weeding at the Windmill."
