Donkey Konga 2 is a Nintendo GameCube game and the second game within the Donkey Konga series, following after the titular game. Donkey Konga 2 was released in 2004 in Japan and in 2005 in other countries. Like the other Donkey Konga titles, Donkey Konga 2 is compatible with the DK Bongos, and it was marketed as being compatible with said controller.
Donkey Konga 2 is noted for its Teen (T) rating in North America, which is because of some of the song's lyrics. The European version maintains a 3+ rating from PEGI from having an entire line-up of family-friendly songs. Some songs in the North American version such as "Headstrong" from Trapt are believed to have contributed to the Teen (T) rating.
