Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is the second Donkey Kong game originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995 and later for the Game Boy Advance in 2004 and for the Virtual Console in 2007. Plans were made for shipment to the Virtual Boy, but were cancelled due to the system's failure[1]. It is the sequel to Donkey Kong Country and the prequel to Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!.
