Dinosaur Fish is the first boss in Virtual Boy Wario Land. He wields a spiked ball and chain for a weapon.

The boss fight against the Dinosaur Fish

Wario fights Dinosaur Fish at the end of Stage 4. At first, the Dinosaur Fish is at the cave in the background, where he tosses his spiked ball and chain across a pool at Wario three times. After this, Dinosaur Fish jumps across to where Wario is and swings his spiked ball and chain back and forth to try and hit Wario. Throughout the battle, Wario has to avoid Dinosaur Fish's spiked ball and chain.

To damage Dinosaur Fish, Wario must jump onto his head. Each time it is stomped, Dinosaur Fish retreats back into his cave, where he swings his ball and chain at Wario again. Wario can defeat Dinosaur Fish by jumping on his head a total of three times.
