Diagonal platforms are an object in Super Mario World and its remake Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2.
Description[]
They are angled lifts made of solid dirt and consisting of a tuft of grass on top. A diagonal platform either faces the top-left or top-right. A diagonal platform has a repeated pattern of moving slowly to one side, stopping, and moving back. A diagonal platform is not slipped on like the slopes of a Semisolid Platforms' slopes, but Mario or Luigi can still slide on a diagonal platform.
In Super Mario World[]
Diagonal platforms appear in two levels, Chocolate Island 4 and in Valley of Bowser 3.
