Delfino Oak Trees are a type of tree featured in the Mario Kart series. They first appear in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Although they have Delfino in their name, Delfino Oak Trees are not native to Isle Delfino, as they do not appear there.

Physical description[]
A Delfino Oak Tree consists of a brown trunk with only a single pointed branch for a nose, black eyes, and a large green bush on top decorated with a wavy pattern.
Behavior[]
A Delfino Oak Tree does little else aside from gently swaying from side to side. A Delfino Oak Tree can serve as an obstruction to a racer, as crashing into one briefly puts their kart to a halt.
In the Mario Kart series[]
Delfino Oak Trees are featured within the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! course Mario Circuit, including its reappearance in Mario Kart Wii. Most of the Delfino Oak Trees sit behind the racetrack boundaries. Delfino Oak Trees do not appear in the Mario Circuit found within prototype builds of Mario Kart DS.
Prior to Mario Kart Wii, the Delfino Oak Trees went unnamed, as their name was provided in the game's Prima guide.
Peach Beach features palm trees similar to a Delfino Oak Tree.
In the Super Smash Bros. series[]
Delfino Oak Trees make a cameo appearance in the background of the Figure-8 Circuit stage, originally named "Mario Circuit" in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Although this is the case, Delfino Oak Trees do not appear in the Mario Kart DS course Figure-8 Circuit, which the stage is based on.
