Dash Yoshi is one of the power-ups Yoshi can utilize in Super Mario Galaxy 2. It is obtained by eating a dash pepper, which can be found in only a few galaxies in the game. Dash Yoshi is orange in color, and runs at super-fast speeds with fire trailing behind him with an alarm is going off as he's dashing. Upon eating it, Yoshi will gain extraordinary running abilities, allowing him to sprint across water and climb up walls with incredibly steep slopes. It does, however expire after a short time.
