Darkly

Darkly is an immigrant from Twilight Town who moved to East Rogueport and appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is the only known Twilighter living outside of Twilight Town.

History

Darkly can be found behind a fake wall right beside Merlon's house. During the events before Chapter 4, Mario must find Darkly in order to figure out how to enter Twilight Town though the red warp pipe. Darkly says that the person must have their name written on an article of clothing and writes down Mario and his partner's names. After Mario returns from Twilight Town, Darkly doesn't believe that the villagers turned into pigs.

Trivia

Since he didn't live in Twilight Town at the time, Darkly is the only Twilighter not affected by the bell that changes other into pigs.
