- Not to be confused with Red Space.
A Danger Space is a type of space in Mario Party: Island Tour.
Description[]
A Danger Space is Mario Party: Island Tour's equivalent to the Red Space in other Mario Party games. Danger Spaces are identical in appearance to Red Spaces, but are functionally very different. Danger Spaces only appear in Banzai Bill's Mad Mountain, and while being on a Danger Space does not yield any immediate effect, any character on a Danger Space on either half of the board are open to being hit by a Banzai Bill whenever it launches, sending them back to the start or halfway point, for the first and second halves of the board, respectively.
In Mario Party: Island Tour[]
There are a total of twelve Danger Spaces on Banzai Bill's Mad Mountain, most of which are below a Safe Space. If a character moves onto a Danger Space next to a Safe Space and has at least one move remaining, they have a choice to either continue forward to the next space or hide in the Safe Space until their next turn.
