"Dance" is the thirteenth live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "Jungle Fever."
Synopsis[]
It's Luigi's birthday and Mario gives him a certificate entitling him to a free dance lesson from Shabba Doo thereby fulfilling Luigi's dream. Luigi is afraid that they're not ready and insists that they practice dancing before Shabba Doo comes.
Shabba Doo comes and starts teaching the Marios his dance steps by randomly placing paper footprints onto the floor. The Mario Brothers prove to be inept dancers but are later seen dancing with Shaba Doo's moves. They then ask Shabba Doo to dance for them which he eagerly agrees to.

- The Mario Brothers and Shabba Doo dance to an instrumental version of the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! theme.
- This is one of the few episodes where the Marios don't humiliate themselves in front of the guest star.
