By going up the hole, he can find this badge in a treasure chest. The other copy of this badge is found with ease but takes some time. Rowf get's this badge in at [[Rowf's Badge Shop|his shop]] in [[Toad Town (Paper Mario)|Toad Town]]. It is here, after chapter 5, Damage Dodge will be on sale for 150 coins. Mario can purchase and obtain the badge. In this game, Damage Dodge costs 3 BP to wear and gives Mario a very helpful effect. Every Time Mario uses the defend action, he gains another point to his defense. It may not look it, but this effect is makes Damage Dodge one of the best badges in the game.

Damage Dodge is a badge that appears in the Paper Mario series.

In Paper Mario, Damage Dodge is found twice. The first time this badge appears is in Chapter 2. Near the beginning of this chapter, Mario scales Mt. Rugged and on the west side, he finds a treasure chest in a secret hole. On the far west side, Mario can access a slope upward in a small cave.
